  • May 20, 2006: Invite received, read over and accepted!
  • May 12, 2006: Invite mailed to me!
  • May 11, 2006: Medically cleared!
  • May 10, 2006: PCMO receives all extra information they asked for.
  • May 5, 2006: Sent extra medical forms.
  • May 2, 2006: Received extra medical forms.
  • April 28, 2006: Placement Officer calls and tries to invite me to a program in July. I can't do it because of school.
  • April 26, 2006: Medical Packet Received at PCMO
  • April 19, 2006: Sent Medical Packet
  • April 10, 2006: Received Medical Packet
  • March 30, 2006: Nominated for Computer Advising in Africa in September!
  • March 26, 2006: Gained access to My Toolkit
  • March 24, 2006: Phone Interview!
  • March 23, 2006: Sent Forms
  • March 23, 2006: Received extra forms to fill out related to legal clearance and relevant skills
  • March 16, 2006: Submit Application!

    Wow! I can’t believe how quickly you went through the process. It’s good to see that if I make a point to get everything in in a timely manner, maybe I won’t have to wait a year before leaving!

    I’m assuming you’re in Africa now?
