    Hey! Congratulations!!

    I’ve been lurking around blogs to find people in the same situation as me (waiting [patiently?] for invitation), and I found yours. Hope that’s not creepy.

    I’m nominated to teach science in Africa. I’m supposed to leave in November. I’m waiting on my medical clearance (it’s been 13 grueling weeks).

    Medical clearance can be rough! My girlfriend got the same nomination for you and she’s in her medical stage. Maybe you all will serve together!

    Am also an invitee to Kenya – leaving in September 2006 in the Small Business Development program. Found you via a google search.

    Am very excited. It took me much longer – almost a year, but I am much older and getting through the medical clearance was a bit of a trial. Am thinking we will be in the same group. E-mail me if you like.
